Legoland Amusement Park

The Dubai version of Disneyland is called Legoland. This large entertainment complex is located near Palm Jebel Ali and 33 km from Palm Jumeirah.

Legoland is divided into two parts – Legoland Amusement Park and Legoland Waterpark.

The parks have attractions for children of any age from two years old, and some of them will be interesting for adults. You can walk around a miniature Lego city, see streets and parks, train stations and airports, and even take part in the city’s life as a policeman, firefighter, or, for example, a doctor. You can look into the Lego factory and see the process of making Lego bricks. Finally, you can look at a Lego model of Dubai and plan your route around the city that way.

In addition to attractions, cafes and souvenir shops, shows and concerts, master classes and other entertainment are waiting for you.

The entrance ticket to Legoland is $ 70, the entrance ticket to Legoland Waterpark is also $ 70.

Tickets can be purchased at the box office or purchased online in advance.

Pro-tip: Fret not; getting around in the city is very easy. There are multiple options:

  • Car and van rental services
  • Uber
  • Taxies

However, if you own a vehicle, ensure that you equip it with the corresponding tyres to avoid accidents. For example, if you own a van, one good fit would be the Falken RI151.

Motion gate Amusement Park

Another large amusement park is called Motion gate and is located on the city’s outskirts, not far from another artificial island, Palm Jebel Ali.

This Park is dedicated to Hollywood and is divided into five zones: DreamWorks, Lionsgate, Columbia Pictures, Smurfs Village and Studio Central. In the park, you will find rides decorated in the style of your favorite Hollywood films and cartoons, themed cafes and restaurants, gift shops, and film production pavilions. In addition, cartoon characters and movie characters are walking in the park, so if you have long wanted a photo with Superman, you will most likely be able to do it.

Professional animators work in the park for the smallest visitors, and older children and adults will enjoy extreme and not-so-great attractions.

The cost of visiting the park is $ 70. you can buy tickets at the box office or online.

You can often find advice on the Internet to visit Legoland and Motion gate in one day. In practice, this isn’t easy to implement. The parks are very different; there is a lot of entertainment and places for recreation in each park.
